You’re Not Broken—You’re Healing

If you’ve ever felt like a mess no one could possibly understand… you’re not alone. And you’re not broken. You’re healing.

That might sound simple, but for a long time, I didn’t believe it either.

There were days I looked totally fine on the outside but was falling apart inside—emotionally, physically, spiritually. I thought maybe I was just “too sensitive” or “too much.” I blamed myself for how exhausted I always felt, or how hard it was to say no, or how my body never seemed to cooperate.

I didn’t realize that what I was really dealing with was trauma.

Not the kind that’s always loud or visible. The kind that whispers quietly into your nervous system. The kind that shows up as people-pleasing, overthinking, anxiety, or chronic pain. The kind that makes you feel like you’re failing when really… you’re surviving.

Healing Doesn’t Look the Same for Everyone

For some of us, healing looks like finally setting a boundary. For others, it looks like crying for the first time in years. Or saying no. Or saying yes. Or resting when you used to push through. Or simply admitting, “I don’t want to carry this anymore.”

Healing isn’t always pretty or peaceful. Sometimes it’s messy. Emotional. Two steps forward, one step back. But that doesn’t mean it’s not working.

What You’ll Find Here

This little corner of the internet—The Wellness Palette—was created to hold space for exactly that. The messy, beautiful, brave process of healing.

Each week, I’ll be sharing:

  • Gentle truths about trauma and recovery

  • Wellness tools that don’t overwhelm you

  • Creative healing practices (like journaling, coloring, breathwork)

  • Reflections from my own journey through caregiving, cancer, and coming back home to myself

This isn’t about fixing you. It’s about walking with you while you remember how powerful, soft, and sacred you already are.

So if you’re here reading this, just know—you’re already doing something brave.

Take a breath. You’re not broken. You’re healing. And I’m so glad you’re here.

🧡 If you feel like sharing: What does healing mean to you right now? Drop it in the comments or come back when you’re ready.
